7 For the time is, that judgment should begin at the house of God. And if first at us, what shall be the end of them that believe not the gospel of God?


3 And now there remain faith, hope, and charity, these three: but the greatest of these is charity.


Ever learning, and never attaining to the knowledge of the truth.


And in fine, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, being lovers of the brotherhood, merciful, modest, humble:


9 In the multitude of words there shall not want sin: but he that refraineth his lips is most wise.


1 To them that are under the law, as if I were under the law, (whereas myself was not under the law,) that I might gain them that were under the law. To them that were without the law, as if I were without the law, (whereas I was not without the law of God, but was in the law of Christ,) that I might gain them that were without the law.


1 See what a letter I have written to you with my own hand.


4 Alexander the coppersmith hath done me much evil: the Lord will reward him according to his works:


1 Wherefore casting away all uncleanness, and abundance of naughtiness, with meekness receive the ingrafted word, which is able to save your souls.


3 Thy hands have made me and formed me: give me understanding, and I will learn thy commandments.


And we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of our gathering together unto him:


For there shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears:


0 And again he saith: Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.


0 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.


2 And I beseech you, brethren, that you suffer this word of consolation. For I have written to you in a few words.


2 He that spared not even his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how hath he not also, with him, given us all things?


0 Two things only do not to me, and then from thy face I shall not be hid:


1 And he said to Laban: Give me my wife; for now the time is fulfilled, that I may go in unto her.


4 Then you answered me: The thing is good which thou meanest to do.


1 And he taught his disciple, and said to them: The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise again the third day.


A mamzer, that is to say, one born of a prostitute, shall not enter into the church of the Lord, until the tenth generation.
