2 Dearly beloved, think not strange the burning heat which is to try you, as if some new thing happened to you;


So desirous of you, we would gladly impart unto you not only the gospel of God, but also our own souls: because you were become most dear unto us.


2 The Lord hath been mindful of us, and hath blessed us. He hath blessed the house of Israel: he hath blessed the house of Aaron.


7 They are zealous in your regard not well: but they would exclude you, that you might be zealous for them.


0 For you are bought with a great price. Glorify and bear God in your body.


3 At his voice he giveth a multitude of waters in the heaven, and lifteth up the clouds from the ends of the earth: he maketh lightnings for rain, and bringeth for the wind out of his treasures.


As newborn babes, desire the rational milk without guile, that thereby you may grow unto salvation:


2 When I shall send to thee Artemas or Tychicus, make haste to come unto me to Nicopolis. For there I have determined to winter.


2 And behold a woman of Canaan who came out of those coasts, crying out, said to him: Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David: my daughter is grieviously troubled by the devil.


Take a millstone and grind meal: uncover thy shame, strip thy shoulder, make bare thy legs, pass over the rivers.


Praise ye the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.


4 May the Lord add blessings upon you: upon you, and upon your children.
