Then Moses and the children of Israel sung this canticle to the Lord: and said: Let us sing to the Lord: for he is gloriously magnified, the horse and the rider he hath thrown into the sea.


Alleluia. Give glory to the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.


8 Of whom the world was not worthy; wandering in deserts, in mountains, and in dens, and in caved of the earth.


After that, he was seen by James, then by all the apostles.


0 And he put away the tabernacle of Silo, his tabernacle where he dwelt among men.


3 I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,


4 And the children came and possessed the land, and thou didst humble before them the inhabitants of the land, the Chanaanites, and gavest them into their hands, with their kings, and the people of the land, that they might do with them as it pleased them.


Now this is the cause of the second circumcision: All the people that came out of Egypt that were males, all the men fit for war, died in the desert, during the time of the long going about in the way.


8 But Josue the son of Nun, thy minister, he shall go in for thee: exhort and encourage him, and he shall divide the land by lot to Israel.


3 And departing from Daphca, they camped in Alus.


9 Forgive, I beseech thee, the sins of this people, according to the greatness of thy mercy, as thou hast been merciful to them from their going out of Egypt unto this place.


And the Lord called Moses, and spoke to him from the tabernacle of the testimony, saying:


0 To another, the working of miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, the discerning of spirits; to another, diverse kinds of tongues; to another, interpretation of speeches.


9 And he was not weak in faith; neither did he consider his own body now dead, whereas he was almost an hundred years old, nor the dead womb of Sara.


But now, after that you have known God, or rather are known by God: how turn you again to the weak and needy elements, which you desire to serve again?


9 For the gifts and the calling of God are without repentance.


8 The woman therefore left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men there:


1 Because that, when they knew God, they have not glorified him as God, or given thanks; but became vain in their thoughts, and their foolish heart was darkened.
