Gold for vessels of gold, and silver for vessels of silver, brass for things of brass, iron for things of iron, wood for things of wood: and onyx stones, and stones like alabaster, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble of Paros in great abundance.

4 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who by the Holy Ghost offered himself unspotted unto God, cleanse our conscience from dead works, to serve the living God?


Thou didst hear them, O Lord our God: thou wast a merciful God to them, and taking vengeance on all their inventions.


Thou hast brought a vineyard out of Egypt: thou hast cast cut the Gentiles and planted it.


4 They have seen thy goings, O God, the goings of my God: of my king who is in his sanctuary.


7 He delivered me from my strongest enemies, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.


And all Israel assembled themselves to king Solomon on the festival day in the month of Ethanim, the same is the seventh month.


Take courage and behave like men, ye Philistines: lest you come to be servants to the Hebrews, as they have served you: take courage and fight.


And king David said to all the assembly: Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is as yet young and tender: and the work is great, for a house is prepared not for man, but for God.
