0 And the wisdom of Solomon surpassed the wisdom of all the Orientals, and of the Egyptians,


My servants shall bring them down from Libanus to the sea: and I will put them together in floats in the sea, and convey them to the place, which thou shalt signify to me; and will land them there, and thou shalt receive them: and thou shalt allow me necessaries, to furnish food for my household.


5 And Juda and Israel dwelt without any fear, every one under his vine, and under his fig tree, from Dan to Bersabee, all the days of Solomon.


7 I struck you with a blasting wind, and all the works of your hand with the mildew and with hail, yet there was none among you that returned to me, saith the Lord.


0 And they shall bring all your brethren out of all nations for a gift to the Lord, upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and on mules, and in coaches, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the Lord, as if the children of Israel should bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord.


Is not this rather the fast that I have chosen? loose the bands of wickedness, undo the bundles that oppress, let them that are broken go free, and break asunder every burden.


5 Verily thou art a hidden God, the God of Israel the saviour.


0 Go, my people, enter into thy chambers, shut thy doors upon thee, hide thyself a little for a moment, until the indignation pass away.


4 He shall redeem their souls from usuries and iniquity: and their names shall be honourable in his sight.


5 But Job hath spoken foolishly, and his words sound not discipline.


6 And king David came and sat before the Lord, and said: Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my house, that thou shouldst give such things to me?


9 And they said one to another: Who hath done this? And when they inquired for the author of the fact, it was said: Gedeon the son of Joas did all this.


8 And behold now Adonias reigneth, and thou, my lord the king, knowest nothing of it.


0 And she said to him: I desire one small petition of thee, do not put me to confusion. And the king said to her: My mother, ask: for I must not turn away thy face.


2 Behold I have done for thee according to thy words, and have given thee a wise and understanding heart, insomuch that there hath been no one like thee before thee, nor shall arise after thee.


9 And God gave to Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart as the sand that is on the sea shore.


Of these twenty-four thousand were chosen, and distributed unto the ministry of the house of the Lord: and six thousand were the overseers and judges.


0 That thou mayest open thy eyes upon this house day and night, upon the place wherein thou hast promised that thy name should be called upon,


1 Let our hearts also be perfect with the Lord our God, that we may walk in his statutes, and keep his commandments, as at this day.


And he shall rule from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
