Now therefore thus shalt thou say to my servant David: Thus saith the Lord of hosts: I took thee from the pastures, from following the flock, that thou shouldst be ruler of my people Israel.


9 And it came to pass at the time when Merob the daughter of Saul should have been given to David, that she was given to Hadriel the Molathite to wife.


Thou enlightenest wonderfully from the everlasting hills.

For God is the king of all the earth: sing ye wisely.


2 He shall build me a house, and I will establish his throne for ever.


4 But I will settle him in my house, and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be most firm for ever.
