And when Jeremiah had completed speaking all that the Lord had instructed him to speak to all the people, then the priests, and the prophets, and all the people apprehended him, saying: "You shall be put to death."


Then, in response, the procurator said to them, "Which of the two do you want to be released to you?" But they said to him, "Barabbas."


Then the chief priests incited the crowd, so that he would release Barabbas to them instead.


Then they all cried out repeatedly, saying: "Not this one, but Barabbas." Now Barabbas was a robber.


And he was arguing in the synagogue on every Sabbath, introducing the name of the Lord Jesus. And he was persuading Jews and Greeks.
