And [still] other [seed] fell into fertile soil; it grew and produced a crop of one hundred times [as much as was planted].” As He said these things, He called out; “The person who has ears to hear with ought to listen [to this] carefully.”

To the person who has victory [in the Christian life] I will give [the opportunity] to eat from the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.” [Note: “Paradise” is equivalent to heaven. It is not suitable for the soil [i.e., for growing crops] or for fertilizer, but [only] for people to throw out. [See note on Matt. 5:13]. The person who has ears to hear with ought to listen [to this] carefully.”
