All [these] things are from God, who restored us to fellowship with Himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of restoring [other] people to [such] fellowship.


“You brothers, descendants of Abraham’s family and those of you who respect God very much, this message of salvation was intended for us.


Now on the last and greatest day of the Festival [of Tabernacles], Jesus stood up and spoke out, “If anyone is thirsty he should come to me for a drink.


But Jesus replied to him, “A certain man prepared a lavish supper and invited many [guests].


Then all of them, in the same way, began to excuse themselves [from attending]. The first one said to the host, ‘I just bought some land and I need to go out and look it over, so please excuse me [from attending the supper].’
