He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: But the hand of the diligent maketh rich.


The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: But the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.


Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.


He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: But he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.


He that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, And considereth not that poverty shall come upon him.


An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning; But the end thereof shall not be blessed.


Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; And he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.


Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? There is more hope of a fool than of him.
