Proverbs 18:6
14 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; But a fool's wrath is heavier than them both.

If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, Whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.

It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, Than with a brawling woman and in a wide house.

It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: But every fool will be meddling.

Judgments are prepared for scorners, And stripes for the back of fools.

A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: For if thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again.

The beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water: Therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with.

A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: But the fool rageth, and is confident.

In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: But the lips of the wise shall preserve them.

Only by pride cometh contention: But with the well advised is wisdom.

A fool's wrath is presently known: But a prudent man covereth shame.

Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; Yea, strife and reproach shall cease.
