Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, Than an house full of sacrifices with strife.


It is better to dwell in the wilderness, Than with a contentious and an angry woman.


And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.


If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

Better is an handful with quietness, than both the hands full with travail and vexation of spirit.


Better is a little with righteousness Than great revenues without right.
