My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; And I am afraid of thy judgments.


If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?


Even when I remember I am afraid, And trembling taketh hold on my flesh.


For now thou numberest my steps: Dost thou not watch over my sin?


If I sin, then thou markest me, And thou wilt not acquit me from mine iniquity.


I know it is so of a truth: But how should man be just with God?


And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, And take away mine iniquity? For now shall I sleep in the dust; And thou shalt seek me in the morning, but I shall not be.


For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, And that which I was afraid of is come unto me.


Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.


Though I speak, my grief is not asswaged: And though I forbear, what am I eased?


Behold, he findeth occasions against me, He counteth me for his enemy,
