Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding,


And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.


And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching.


She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her; those who hold her fast are called blessed.


For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.


One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.

They are planted in the house of the Lord; they flourish in the courts of our God.

Happy are your men! Happy are your servants, who continually stand before you and hear your wisdom!
