Why did I come out from the womb to see toil and sorrow, and spend my days in shame?

The Lord has taken away the judgments against you; he has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; you shall never again fear evil.


But now, if you will forgive their sin—but if not, please blot me out of your book that you have written.”


And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.


Why is my pain unceasing, my wound incurable, refusing to be healed? Will you be to me like a deceitful brook, like waters that fail?


so that I would choose strangling and death rather than my bones.
