When they were near Jebus, the day was nearly over, and the servant said to his master, “Come now, let us turn aside to this city of the Jebusites and spend the night in it.”


And he said to his young man, “Come and let us draw near to one of these places and spend the night at Gibeah or at Ramah.”


They have deeply corrupted themselves as in the days of Gibeah: he will remember their iniquity; he will punish their sins.


Zela, Haeleph, Jebus (that is, Jerusalem), Gibeah and Kiriath-jearim—fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the people of Benjamin according to its clans.


Saul also went to his home at Gibeah, and with him went men of valor whose hearts God had touched.


Saul chose three thousand men of Israel. Two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and the hill country of Bethel, and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin. The rest of the people he sent home, every man to his tent.


they have crossed over the pass; at Geba they lodge for the night; Ramah trembles; Gibeah of Saul has fled.


Blow the horn in Gibeah, the trumpet in Ramah. Sound the alarm at Beth-aven; we follow you, O Benjamin!
