9 And I went to the angel, saying unto him, that he should give me the book. And he said to me: Take the book, and eat it up: and it shall make thy belly bitter, but in thy mouth it shall be sweet as honey.

Thy words were found, and I did eat them: and thy word was to me a joy and gladness of my heart, for thy name is called upon me, O Lord God of hosts.


But thou, O son of man, hear all that I say to thee: and do not thou provoke me, as that house provoketh me. Open thy mouth, and eat what I give thee.


The spirit also lifted me and took me up: and I went away in bitterness in the indignation of my spirit: for the hand of the Lord was with me, strengthening me.


I have not departed from the commandments of his lips: and the words of his mouth I have hid in my bosom.


For which things the wrath of God cometh upon the children of unbelief,


And I took the book from the hand of the angel, and ate it up: and it was in my mouth, sweet as honey: and when I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
