Psalm 78:4
17 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

Teach your children that they meditate on them, when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest on the way, and when thou liest down and risest up.

Tell ye of this to your children, and let your children tell their children, and their children to another generation.

Keep thyself therefore, and thy soul carefully. Forget not the words that thy eyes have seen: and let them not go out of thy heart all the days of thy life. Thou shalt teach them to thy sons and to thy grandsons,

And thou shalt tell them to thy children: and thou shalt meditate upon them sitting in thy house, and walking on thy journey, sleeping and rising.

Have mercy on me, O Lord: see my humiliation which I suffer from my enemies.

Hear, O Lord, my voice, with which I have cried to thee: have mercy on me and hear me.

Wise men confess and hide not their fathers.

And when thy son shall ask thee tomorrow, saying: What is this? Thou shalt answer him: With a strong hand did the Lord bring us forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

And thou shalt tell thy son in that day, saying: This is what the Lord did to me when I came forth out of Egypt.

And when your children shall say to you: What is the meaning of this service?

The living, the living, he shall give praise to thee, as I do this day: the father shall make thy truth known to the children.
