Psalm 76:5
10 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

Thy shepherds have slumbered, O king of Assyria, thy princes shall be buried: thy people are hid in the mountains, and there is none to gather them together.

They are all gone aside, they are become unprofitable together: there is none that doth good, no not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre: with their tongues they acted deceitfully; the poison of asps is under their lips. Their mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: their feet are swift to shed blood. Destruction and unhappiness in their ways: and the way of peace they have not known: there is no fear of God before their eyes.

In their heat I will set them drink: and I will make them drunk, that they may slumber, and sleep an everlasting sleep, and awake no more, saith the Lord.

I have brought my justice near: it shall not be afar off, and my salvation shall not tarry. I will give salvation in Sion and my glory in Israel.

And the angel of the Lord went out, and slew in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and eighty-five thousand. And they arose in the morning, and behold, they were all dead corpses.

And the Assyrian shall fall by the sword, not of a man, and the sword, not of a man, shall devour him: and he shall flee, not at the face of the sword. And his young men shall be tributaries.
