Psalm 51:8
17 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

Blessed are the meek: for they shall possess the land.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me. Wherefore he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he hath sent me to heal the contrite of heart,

I was dumb, and was humbled, and kept silence from good things: and my sorrow was renewed.

For with thee is the fountain of life; and in thy light we shall see light.

For my life is wasted with grief: and my years in sighs. My strength is weakened through poverty and my bones are disturbed.

And the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and shall come into Sion with praise: and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness: and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

They have not called upon the Lord; there have they trembled for fear where there was no fear.

I know, my God, that thou provest hearts, and lovest simplicity. Wherefore I also in the simplicity of my heart have joyfully offered all these things: and I have seen with great joy thy people, which are here present, offer thee their offerings.

O Lord, thy eyes are upon truth: thou hast struck them, and they have not grieved: thou hast bruised them, and they have refused to receive correction. They have made their faces harder than the rock and they have refused to return.
