Psalm 135:4
15 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

But you are a chosen generation, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a purchased people: that you may declare his virtues, who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

And yet the Lord hath been closely joined to thy fathers, and loved them and chose their seed after them: that is to say, you, out of all nations, as this day it is proved.

And they shall be my special possession, saith the Lord of hosts, in the day that I do judgment: and I will spare them, as a man spareth his son that serveth him.

But thou Israel art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend:

We have sinned with our fathers: we have acted unjustly, we have wrought iniquity.

Come, children, hearken to me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

And the Lord will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because the Lord hath sworn to make you his people.

But the Lord's portion is his people: Jacob the lot of his inheritance.

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and might cleanse to himself a people acceptable, a pursuer of good works.

And the Lord hath chosen thee this day, to be his peculiar people, as he hath spoken to thee, and to keep all his commandments:

The portion of Jacob is not like them: for he that made all things he it is, and Israel is the sceptre of his inheritance: the Lord of hosts is his name.
