Psalm 124:1
27 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who is against us?

Arise, O my glory, arise psaltery and harp: I will arise early.

at the voice of the enemy, and at the tribulation of the sinner. For they have cast iniquities upon me: and in wrath they were troublesome to me.

I have lifted up my eyes to the mountains, from whence help shall come to me.

I rejoiced at the things that were said to me: We shall go into the house of the Lord.

A gradual canticle. When the Lord brought back the captivity of Sion, we became like men comforted.

Sing praises to our God, sing ye: sing praises to our king, sing ye.

A psalm for David himself. Unto thee will I cry, O Lord: O my God, be not thou silent to me: lest thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

A gradual canticle. Blessed are all they that fear the Lord: that walk in his ways.

A gradual canticle. Out of the depths I have cried to thee, O Lord:

A gradual canticle of David. Lord, my heart is not exalted: nor are my eyes lofty. Neither have I walked in great matters, nor in wonderful things above me.

A gradual canticle. Often have they fought against me from my youth, let Israel now say.

A gradual canticle. Behold now bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord: Who stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.

A gradual canticle. Unless the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it. Unless the Lord keep the city, he watcheth in vain that keepeth it.

Then Moses and the children of Israel sung this canticle to the Lord: and said: Let us sing to the Lord, for he is gloriously magnified: the horse and the rider he hath thrown into the sea.

A gradual canticle of David. Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell in unity.

If it had not been that the Lord was with us, let Israel now say:

To thee have I lifted up my eyes, who dwellest in heaven.

Alleluia. Praise ye the name of the Lord: O you his servants, praise the Lord:

A gradual canticle. O Lord, remember David, and all his meekness.

Unless the God of my father Abraham, and the fear of Isaac had stood by me, peradventure now thou hadst sent me away naked: God beheld my affliction and the labour of my hands, and rebuked thee yesterday.

I will give praise to thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing a psalm to thee among the nations.
