All have gone aside, they are become unprofitable together, there is none that doth good, no not one.


And a man shall mock his brother, and they will not speak the truth: for they have taught their tongue to speak lies, they have laboured to commit iniquity.


Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,


And they set up false witnesses, who said: This man ceaseth not to speak words against the holy place and the law.


The lip of truth shall be steadfast for ever: but he that is a hasty witness, frameth a lying tongue.


And Achitophel said to Absalom: I will choose me twelve thousand men; and I will arise and pursue after David this night.


And they have bent their tongue, as a bow, for lies and not for truth: they have strengthened themselves upon the earth: for they have proceeded from evil to evil, and me they have not known, saith the Lord.


The mind of the just studieth obedience: the mouth of the wicked over floweth with evils.


Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth: and a door round about my lips.
