Who divided the Red Sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever.


But thou, O Lord, shalt remain for ever: thy throne from generation to generation.


And God said again to Moses: Thus shalt thou say to the children of Israel: The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me to you. This is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.


Jesus Christ, yesterday, and to day; and the same for ever.


The swords of the enemy have failed unto the end: and their cities thou hast destroyed. Their memory hath perished with a noise:


Thus saith the Lord, the king of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last: and besides me there is no God.


Because thou wast forsaken and hated, and there was none that passed through thee, I will make thee to be an everlasting glory, a joy unto generation and generation.


His dwelling is above, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He shall cast out the enemy from before thee, and shall say: Be thou brought to nought.


(For we are but of yesterday, and are ignorant that our days upon earth are but a shadow:)


Who cometh forth like a flower, and is destroyed, and fleeth as a shadow, and never continueth in the same state.


Of the arrow that flieth in the day, of the business that walketh about in the dark: of invasion, or of the noonday devil.
