And he said to him: Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.


Whosoever speaketh ill of any thing, bindeth himself for the time to come: but he that feareth the commandment, shall dwell in peace. Deceitful souls go astray in sins: the just are merciful, and shew mercy.


But he said: Yea rather, blessed are they who hear the word of God, and keep it.


For this is the charity of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not heavy.


And whatsoever we shall ask, we shall receive of him: because we keep his commandments, and do those things which are pleasing in his sight.


When prophecy shall fail, the people shall be scattered abroad: but he that keepeth the law is blessed.


He that keepeth his mouth and his tongue, keepeth his soul from distress.


The path of the just departeth from evils: he that keepeth his soul keepeth his way.
