Proverbs 16:8
12 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

Better is a little with the fear of the Lord, than great treasures without content,

For in thee, O Lord, have I hoped: thou wilt hear me, O Lord my God.

As the partridge hath hatched eggs which she did not lay: so is he that hath gathered riches, and not by right. In the midst of his days he shall leave them: and in his latter end he shall be a fool.

As yet there is a fire in the house of the wicked, the treasures of iniquity, and a scant measure full of wrath.

When the ways of man shall please the Lord, he will convert even his enemies to peace.

The heart of man disposeth his way: but the Lord must direct his steps.

Better is a handful with rest, than both hands full with labour, and vexation of mind.

It is better to be invited to herbs with love, than to a fatted calf with hatred.

Better is a dry morsel with joy, than a house full of victims with strife.

Better is the poor man walking in his simplicity, than the rich in crooked ways.
