The old error is passed away, thou wilt keep peace: peace, because we have hoped in thee.


And when you shall hear of wars and seditions, be not terrified: these things must first come to pass; but the end is not yet presently.


In the fear of the Lord is confidence of strength, and there shall be hope for his children.


For by me shall thy days be multiplied, and years of life shall be added to thee.


In your patience you shall possess your souls.


Who, by the power of God, are kept by faith unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time.


And as he was yet speaking, behold a bright cloud overshadowed them. And lo, a voice out of the cloud, saying: This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased: hear ye him.


Incline your ear and come to me. Hear and your soul shall live. And I will make an everlasting covenant with you, the faithful mercies of David.


O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments: thy peace had been as a river, and thy justice as the waves of the sea,


Whatsoever shall befall the just man, it shall not make him sad: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.


But though a sinner do evil a hundred times, and by patience be borne withal, I know from thence that it shall be well with them that fear God, who dread his face.


Do my precepts, and keep my judgments, and fulfil them: that you may dwell in the land without any fear.


And the ground may yield you its fruits, of which you may eat your fill, fearing no man's invasion.


If they shall hear and observe, they shall accomplish their days in good, and their years in glory.


And the work of justice shall be peace: and the service of justice quietness and security for ever.
