Numbers 14:37
17 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

Neither do you murmur: as some of them murmured, and were destroyed by the destroyer.

And the number of them that were slain was fourteen thousand and seven hundred men, besides them that had perished in the sedition of Core.

And with whom was he offended forty years? Was it not with them that sinned, whose carcasses were overthrown in the desert?

I will strike them therefore with pestilence, and will consume them: but thee I will make a ruler over a great nation, and a mightier than this is.

I will therefore admonish you, though ye once knew all things, that Jesus, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, did afterwards destroy them that believed not:

Therefore thus saith the Lord: Behold I will visit upon Semeias the Nehelamite and upon his seed. He shall not have a man to sit in the midst of this people and he shall not see the good that I will do to my people, saith the Lord: because he hath spoken treason against the Lord.

And there were slain four and twenty thousand men.

But with most of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the desert.

And to whom did he swear, that they should not enter into his rest: but to them that were incredulous?

But the others, that had been with him, said: No, we are not able to go up to this people, because they are stronger than we.

But Josue the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephone lived, of all them that had gone to view the land.

And fire coming out from the Lord destroyed them: and they died before the Lord.

And a fire coming out from the Lord destroyed the two hundred and fifty men that offered the incense.

And making a sedition, they said: Would God we had perished among our brethren before the Lord.

And unless the ass had turned out of the way, giving place to me who stood against thee, I had slain thee, and she should have lived.

The senseless man shall not know: nor will the fool understand these things.
