Nehemiah 9:10
32 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

Who hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt even until this day, and in Israel, and amongst men, and hast made thee a name as at this day.

As a beast that goeth down in the field. The spirit of the Lord was their leader: so didst thou lead thy people to make thyself a glorious name.

He that brought out Moses by the right hand, by the arm of his majesty: that divided the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name.

If God ever did so as to go, and take to himself a nation out of the midst of nations by temptations, signs, and wonders, by fight, and a strong hand, and stretched-out arm, and horrible visions according to all the things that the Lord your God did for you in Egypt, before thy eyes.

Now I know that the Lord is great above all gods: because they dealt proudly against them.

But he answered: Who is the Lord, that I should hear his voice, and let Israel go? I know not the Lord, neither will I let Israel go.

In like manner, ye young men, be subject to the ancients. And do you all insinuate humility one to another, for God resisteth the proud, but to the humble he giveth grace.

For the scripture saith to Pharao: To this purpose have I raised thee, that I may shew my power in thee, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

He brought them out, doing wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red Sea, and in the desert forty years.

But I did otherwise for my name's sake, that it might not be violated before the nations, in the midst of whom they were, and among whom I made myself known to them, to bring them out of the land of Egypt.

And the Lord said to Moses: Behold, I have appointed thee the God of Pharao: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.

For I will stretch forth my hand, and will strike Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst of them. After these he will let you go.

And therefore have I raised thee, that I may shew my power in thee: and my name may be spoken of throughout all the earth.

But they and our fathers dealt proudly, and hardened their necks, and hearkened not to thy commandments.

And thou didst admonish them to return to thy law. But they dealt proudly, and hearkened not to thy commandments, but sinned against thy judgments, which if a man do, he shall live in them. And they withdrew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear.

The exceeding great plagues, which thy eyes saw, and the signs and wonders, and the strong hand, and the stretched-out arm, with which the Lord thy God brought thee out. So will he do to all the people, whom thou fearest.

Thou that seest many things, wilt thou not observe them? Thou that hast ears open, wilt thou not hear?
