Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord when he cometh, shall find watching. Amen I say to you, that he will gird himself, and make them sit down to meat, and passing will minister unto them.


And when he had seen them, and Benjamin with them, he commanded the steward of his house, saying: Bring in the men into the house, and kill victims, and prepare a feas;: because they shall eat with me at noon.


Then David arose from the ground, and washed and anointed himself. And when he had changed his apparel, he went into the house of the Lord: and worshipped. And then he came into his own house, and he called for bread, and ate.


But which of you having a servant ploughing, or feeding cattle, will say to him, when he is come from the field: Immediately go, sit down to meat:


Doth he thank that servant, for doing the things which he commanded him?


He riseth from supper, and layeth aside his garments, and having taken a towel, girded himself.
