Let them give praise to thy great name: for it is terrible and holy:

Thou wilt perform the truth of Jacob, the mercy to Abraham: which thou hast sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

Remember these things, O Jacob, and Israel, for thou art my servant. I have formed thee: thou art my servant. O Israel, forget me not.

Surely Ephraim is an honourable son to me, surely he is a tender child: for since I spoke of him, I will still remember him. Therefore are my bowels troubled for him: pitying, I will pity him, saith the Lord.

The Lord hath appeared from afar to me. Yea, I have loved thee with everlasting love: therefore have I drawn thee, taking pity on thee.

He hath chosen for us his inheritance the beauty of Jacob which he hath loved.

He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.

As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed for ever.
