Leviticus 9:7
12 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

And therefore he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.

For every high priest taken from among men, is ordained for men in the things that appertain to God, that he may offer up gifts and sacrifices for sins:

But into the second, the high priest alone, once a year: not without blood, which he offereth for his own, and the people's ignorance:

If the priest that is anointed shall sin, making the people to offend, he shall offer to the Lord for his sin a calf without blemish.

Therefore have I sworn to the house of Heli, that the iniquity of his house shall not be expiated with victims nor offerings for ever.

Take of the herd a calf for sin, and a ram for a holocaust, both without blemish, and offer them before the Lord.

As at this present it hath been done, that the rite of the sacrifice might be accomplished.

And when he hath offered the calf and prayed for himself and for his own house:

After these things are duly celebrated, he shall offer the calf: and praying for himself and for his own house, he shall immolate it:

He shall wash his flesh in the holy place, and shall put on his own garments. And after that he has come out and hath offered his own holocaust, and that of the people, he shall pray both for himself, and for the people.
