Lamentations 2:12
9 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and will put my sword in his hand: and I will break the arms of Pharao, and they shall groan bitterly being slain before his face.

Therefore will I distribute to him very many, and he shall divide the spoils of the strong: because he hath delivered his soul unto death and was reputed with the wicked. And he hath borne the sins of many and hath prayed for the transgressors.

And now my soul fadeth within myself: and the days of affliction possess me.

And I will go in to the altar of God: to God who giveth joy to my youth.

because thou hast been my helper. And I will rejoice under the covert of thy wings:

And they shall eat up thy corn and thy bread: they shall devour thy sons and thy daughters: they shall eat up thy flocks and thy herds: they shall eat thy vineyards and thy figs: and with the sword they shall destroy thy strong cities, wherein thou trustest.

Daleth. The tongue of the sucking child hath stuck to the roof of his mouth for thirst: the little ones have asked for bread, and there was none to break it unto them.

Thy children are cast forth, they have slept at the head of all the ways, as the wild ox that is snared: full of the indignation of the Lord, of the rebuke of thy God.

Caph. All her people sigh, they seek bread: they have given all their precious things for food to relieve the soul. See, O Lord, and consider, for I am become vile.
