⁴⁶ The attendants replied, Never has a man talked as this Man talks! [No mere man has ever spoken as He speaks!]

⁴⁶ The guards answered, “No one has ever spoken the way he does.”

⁴⁶ The attendants responded, "Never has a man spoken like this man."

And all gave testimony to him: and they wondered at the words of grace that proceeded from his mouth, and they said: Is not this the son of Joseph?

And behold, he speaketh openly, and they say nothing to him. Have the rulers known for a truth, that this is the Christ?

And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his speech was with power.

The Pharisees heard the people murmuring these things concerning him: and the rulers and Pharisees sent ministers to apprehend him.
