Not to all the people, but to witnesses preordained by God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he arose again from the dead;


And Jesus knew that they had a mind to ask him; and he said to them: Of this do you inquire among yourselves, because I said: A little while, and you shall not see me; and again a little while, and you shall see me?


When therefore they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter: Simon son of John, lovest thou me more than these? He saith to him: Yea, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee. He saith to him: Feed my lambs.


And they came to Capharnaum. And when they were in the house, he asked them: What did you treat of in the way?


And immediately his disciples came; and they wondered that he talked with the woman. Yet no man said: What seekest thou? or, why talkest thou with her?


But they understood not this word; and it was hid from them, so that they perceived it not. And they were afraid to ask him concerning this word.


And no man was able to answer him a word; neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.


Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land, full of great fishes, one hundred and fifty-three. And although there were so many, the net was not broken.
