Jeremiah 51:9
13 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

For her sins have reached unto heaven, and the Lord hath remembered her iniquities.

Destroy the sower out of Babylon and him that holdeth the sickle in the time of harvest. For fear of the sword of the dove every man shall return to his people and every one shall flee to his own land.

And they shall be as a doe fleeing away, and as a sheep: and there shall be none to gather them together. Every man shall turn to his own people, and every one shall flee to his own land.

He hath multiplied them that fall, and one hath fallen upon another. And they shall say: Arise, and let us return to our own people and to the land our nativity, from the sword of the dove.

And said: My God, I am confounded and ashamed to lift up my face to thee. For our iniquities are multiplied over our heads; and our sins are grown up even unto heaven,

Her hirelings also that lived in the midst of her, like fatted calves are turned back, and are fled away together. And they could not stand: for the day of their slaughter is come upon them, the time of their visitation.

The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.

Such are all the things become to thee, in which thou best laboured: thy merchants from thy youth, every one hath erred in his own way. There is none that can save thee.

At that time there was a prophet of the Lord there, whose name was Oded. And he went out to meet the army that came to Samaria, and said to them: Behold, the Lord the God of your fathers, being angry with Juda, hath delivered them into your hands, and you have butchered them cruelly, so that your cruelty hath reached up to heaven.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying: Go out from her, my people; that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.

Woe to them, for they have departed from me: they shall be wasted because they have transgressed against me: and I redeemed them: and they have spoken lies against me.
