According to the greatness of their work is their visitation also: they shall lead them to the torrent of the willows.

Wherefore my bowels shall sound like a harp for Moab, and my inward parts for the brick wall.

My bowels, my bowels, are in pain, the senses of my heart are troubled within me. I will not hold my peace, for my soul hath heard the sound of the trumpet, the cry of battle.

Look down from heaven and behold from thy holy habitation and the place of thy glory. Where is thy zeal and thy strength, the multitude of thy bowels and of thy mercies? They have held back themselves from me.

The substance of the rich man is the city of his strength, and as a strong wall compassing him about.

The good man leaveth heirs, sons, and grandsons: and the substance of the sinner is kept for the just.

Riches shall not profit in the day of revenge: but justice shall deliver from death.

And they destroyed the cities: and they filled every goodly field, every man casting his stone. And they stopt up all the springs of waters: and cut down all the trees that bore fruit, so that brick walls only remained. And the city was beset by the slingers, and a great part thereof destroyed.

Therefore will I lament for Moab and I will cry out to all Moab for the men of the brick wall that mourn.
