38 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Behold, my wrath and my indignation was enkindled against this place, upon men and upon beasts, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruits of the land: and it shall burn and shall not be quenched.

And I will persecute them with the sword and with famine and with the pestilence: and I will give them up unto affliction to all the kingdoms of the earth: to be a curse and an astonishment and a hissing and a reproach to all the nations to which I have driven them out:

That their land might be given up to desolation and to a perpetual hissing. Every one that shall pass by it shall be astonished and wag his head.

And I will take the remnant of Juda that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt and to dwell there: and they shall be all consumed in the land of Egypt. They shall fall by the sword and by the famine: and they shall be consumed from the least even to the greatest. By the sword, and by the famine shall they die: and they shall be for an execration and for a wonder and for a curse and for a reproach.

And I will deliver them up to vexation and affliction, to all the kingdoms of the earth: to be a reproach and a byword and a proverb, and to be a curse in all places to which I have cast them out.

And they shall not return into the land, whereunto they lift up their mind to return thither.

And you shall leave your name for an execration to my elect. And the Lord God shall slay thee and call his servants by another name.

He also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mingled with pure wine in the cup of his wrath, and shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the sight of the holy angels, and in the sight of the Lamb.

And it shall come to pass, that as you were a curse among the Gentiles, O house of Juda, and house of Israel: so will I save you, and you shall be a blessing: fear not, let your hands be strengthened.

Who can stand before the face of his indignation? and who shall resist in the fierceness of his anger? his indignation is poured out like fire: and the rocks are melted by him.

As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall you be in the midst thereof: and you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have poured out my indignation upon you.

Caph. The Lord hath accomplished his wrath, he hath poured out his fierce anger and he hath kindled a fire in Sion: and it hath devoured the foundations thereof.

Daleth. He hath bent his bow as an enemy, he hath fixed his right hand as an adversary: and he hath killed all that was fair to behold in the tabernacle of the daughter of Sion: he hath poured out his indignation like fire.

And of them shall be taken up a curse by all the captivity of Juda that are in Babylon, saying: The Lord make thee like Sedecias and like Achab whom the king of Babylon fried in the fire:

I will make this house like Silo: and I will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.

Behold, I will send, and take all the kindreds of the north, saith the Lord, and Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon my servant: and I will bring them against this land and against the inhabitants thereof and against all the nations that are round about it: and I will destroy them and make them an astonishment and a hissing and perpetual desolations.

Therefore am I full of the fury of the Lord, I am weary with holding in. Pour it out upon the child abroad and upon the council of the young men together: for man and woman shall be taken, the ancient and he that is full of days.

Because they have forsaken me, and have sacrificed to strange gods, to provoke me to wrath with all the works of their hands, therefore my wrath shall fall upon this place and shall not be quenched.

And the strength of Pharao shall be to your confusion: and the confidence of the shadow of Egypt to your shame.

And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you and a perpetual shame which shall never be forgotten.

Of them that come to fight with the Chaldeans and to fill them with the dead bodies of the men whom I have slain in my wrath and in my indignation, hiding my face from this city because of all their wickedness.

Wherefore my indignation and my fury was poured forth and was kindled in the cities of Juda and in the streets of Jerusalem: and they are turned to desolation and waste, as at this day.

In that you provoke me to wrath with the works of your hands, by sacrificing to other gods in the land of Egypt, into which you are come to dwell there: and that you should perish and be a curse and a reproach to all the nations of the earth?

So that the Lord could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings and because of the abominations which you have committed. Therefore your land is become a desolation and an astonishment and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day.

And I will bring you out from the people, and I will gather you out of the countries in which you are scattered. I will reign over you with a strong hand and with a stretched-out arm, and with fury poured out.

Vau. And he hath destroyed his tent as a garden, he hath thrown down his tabernacle. The Lord hath caused feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Sion and hath delivered up king and priest to reproach and to the indignation of his wrath.

They returned, that they might be without yoke: they became like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword, for the rage of their tongue. This is their derision in the land of Egypt.
