But the nation that shall bend down their neck under the yoke of the king Babylon and shall serve him: I will let them remain in their own land, saith the Lord: and they shall till it and dwell in it.


And Godolias swore to them and to their men, saying: Be not afraid to serve the Chaldees. Stay in the land, and serve the king of Babylon; and it shall be well with you.


Often have they fought against me from my youth: but they could not prevail over me.
