Their webs shall not be for clothing: neither shall they cover themselves with their works. Their works are unprofitable works: and the work of iniquity is in their hands.


And they were both naked, to wit, Adam and his wife: and were not ashamed.


For God doth know that in what day soever you shall eat thereof, your eyes shall be opened: and you shall be as Gods, knowing good and evil.


For the bed is straitened so that one must fall out: and a short covering cannot cover both.


And when they were come into Samaria, Eliseus said: Lord, open the eyes of these men, that they may see. And the Lord opened their eyes: and they saw themselves to be in the midst of Samaria.


And be astonished at the terror of those things which thy eyes shall see.


And lifting up his eyes when he was in torments, he saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom:


Thy nakedness shall be discovered and thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and no man shall resist me.


Heth. Jerusalem hath grievously sinned, therefore is she become unstable: all that honoured her have despised her, because they have seen her shame: but she sighed and turned backward.


That afterwards their children might learn to fight with their enemies, and to be trained up to war.


And such as we think to be the less honourable members of the body, about these we put more abundant honour; and those that are our uncomely parts, have more abundant comeliness.
