33 Isaac was struck with fear, and astonished exceedingly: and wondering beyond what can be believed, said: Who is he then the even now brought me venison that he had taken, and I ate of all before thou camest? And I have blessed him; and he shall be blessed.

For the gifts and the calling of God are without repentance.


By faith also of things to come, Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau.


Blessed by the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with spiritual blessings in heavenly places, in Christ:


The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they may have life, and may have it more abundantly.


In God I will praise my words, in God I have put my trust: I will not fear what flesh can do against me.


At this my heart trembleth, and is moved out of its place.


As for me, when I remember, I am afraid: and trembling taketh hold on my flesh.


And he answering said: Two nations are in thy womb and two peoples shall be divided out of thy womb. And one people shall overcome the other; and the elder shall serve the younger.


And he said: Thy brother came deceitfully and got thy blessing.


And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, saying: Take not a wife of the stock of Chanaan:


I was brought to bless: the blessing I am not able to hinder.
