I can do all these things in him who strengtheneth me.


Now to him who is able to do all things more abundantly than we desire or understand, according to the power that worketh in us;


These are the generations of Noe. Noe was a just and perfect man in his generations; he walked with God.


And they were both just before God, walking in all the commandments and justifications of the Lord without blame.


Be you therefore perfect, as also your heavenly Father is perfect.


And said: I beseech thee, O Lord, remember how I have walked before thee in truth, and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Ezechias wept with great weeping.


There was a man in the land of Hus, whose name was Job: and that man was simple and upright, and fearing God, and avoiding evil.


Is there any thing hard to God? According to appointment, I will return to thee at this same time, life accompanying; and Sara shall have a son.


Thou shalt be perfect: and without spot before the Lord thy God.

And the Lord said to Abram: Go forth out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and out of thy father's house, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.


And he walked with God, and was seen no more: because God took him.


AND Paul looking upon the council, said: Men, brethren, I have conversed with all good conscience before God until this present day.


Peradventure thou wilt comprehend the steps of God, and wilt find out the Almighty perfectly?


That the Lord may confirm his words, which he hath spoken of me, saying: If thy children shall take heed to their ways, and shall walk before me in truth, with all their heart, and with all their soul, there shall not be taken away from thee a man on the throne of Israel.

Now therefore, O Lord God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father what thou hast spoken to him, saying: There shall not be taken away of thee a man in my sight, to sit on the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked in my sight.


Abram was fourscore and six years old when Agar brought him forth Ismael.


And Henoch walked with God: and lived after he begot Mathusala, three hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.


The Lord, said he, in whose sight I walk, will send his angel with thee, and will direct thy way. And thou shalt take a wife for my son of my own kindred, and of my father's house.


And the Lord appeared to him and said: Go not down into Egypt, but stay in the land that I shall tell thee.


And may my almighty God make him favourable to you; and send back with you your brother, whom he keepeth, and this Benjamin. And as for me I shall be desolate without children.


God said to him: I am the most mighty God of thy father. Fear not, go down into Egypt, for I will make a great nation of thee there.


And that thou mayst love the Lord thy God, and obey his voice, and adhere to him (for he is thy life, and the length of thy days): that thou mayst dwell in the land, for which the Lord swore to thy fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that he would give it them.


And when Joseph was come in to him, he said: God Almighty appeared to me at Luza, which is in the land of Chanaan, and he blessed me.


The hearer of the words of God hath said, who knoweth the doctrine of the Highest, and seeth the visions of the Almighty, who falling hath his eyes opened:


He that walketh sincerely, walketh confidently: but he that perverteth his ways, shall be manifest.
