Ephesians 6:2
13 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ  

Honour thy father and thy mother, that thou mayest be longlived upon the land which the Lord thy God will give thee.


Cursed be he that honoureth not his father and mother. And all the people shall say: Amen.


He that curseth his father, and mother, his lamp shall be put out in the midst of darkness.


The son honoureth the father, and the servant his master: if then I be a father, where is my honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the Lord of hosts.


They have abused father and mother in thee: they have oppressed the stranger in the midst of thee: they have grieved the fatherless and widow in thee.


And Jeremias said to the house of the Rechabites: Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Because you have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father and have kept all his precepts and have done all that he commanded you:


Render therefore to all men their dues. Tribute, to whom tribute is due: custom, to whom custom: fear, to whom fear: honour, to whom honour.


Honour thy father and mother, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee, that thou mayst live a long time, and it may be well with thee: in the land, which the Lord thy God will give thee.


Neither shall ye build houses, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyards, nor have any: but you shall dwell in tents all your days, that you may live many days upon the face of the earth, in which you are strangers.


That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest be long lived upon earth.


But if any widow have children, or grandchildren, let her learn first to govern her own house, and to make a return of duty to her parents: for this is acceptable before God.
