Deuteronomy 30:1
25 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

Consider that I have set before thee this day life and good, and on the other hand death and evil.

I call heaven and earth to witness this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Choose therefore life, that both thou and thy seed may live.

And he hath cast them out of their land, in anger and in wrath, and in very great indignation: and hath thrown them into a strange land, as it is seen this day.

And returning to himself, he said: How many hired servants in my father's house abound with bread, and I here perish with hunger?

Because he considereth and turneth away himself from all his iniquities which he hath wrought, he shall surely live and not die.

Remember this and be ashamed: return, ye transgressors, to the heart.

The Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the farthest parts of the earth to the ends thereof. And there thou shalt serve strange gods, which both thou art ignorant of and thy fathers, wood and stone.

And death shall be chosen rather than life by all that shall remain of this wicked kindred, in all places which are left, to which I have cast them out, saith the Lord of hosts.

Behold, thou dost cast me out this day from the face of the earth, and I shall be hidden from thy face, and I shall be a vagabond and a fugitive on the earth: everyone, therefore, that findeth me, shall kill me.

The Lord will judge his people, and will have mercy on his servants. He shall see that their hand is weakened, and that they who were shut up have also failed, and they that remained are consumed.

But yet acknowledge thy iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God: and thou hast scattered thy ways to strangers under every green tree, and hast not heard my voice, saith the Lord.

And I will be found by you, saith the Lord: and I will bring back your captivity, and I will gather you out of all nations and from all the places to which I have driven you out, saith the Lord: and I will bring you back from the place to which I caused you to be carried away captive:

The Lord strike thee with madness and blindness and fury of mind.

Therefore the wrath of the Lord was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this volume:

Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them back to the land which thou gavest to their fathers.

For if you turn again to the Lord, your brethren, and children shall find mercy before their masters, that have led them away captive. And they shall return into this land: for the Lord your God is merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if you return to him.

But if you return to me, and keep my commandments, and do them, though you should be led away to the uttermost parts of the world, I will gather you from thence, and bring you back to the place which I have chosen for my name to dwell there.

And they that are saved of you shall remember me amongst the nations to which they are carried captives: because I have broken their heart that was faithless and revolted from me and their eyes that went afornicating after their idols: and they shall be displeased with themselves because of the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.

And I will sow them among peoples: and from afar they shall remember me: and they shall live with their children, and shall return.
