But shalt open it to the poor man Thou shalt lend him that which thou perceivest he hath need of.


For that same is the only thing wherewith he is covered, the clothing of his body: neither hath he any other to sleep in. If he cry to me, I will hear him, because I am compassionate.


If thou take of thy neighbour a garment in pledge: thou shalt give it him again before sunset.


But then shalt stand without: and he shall bring out to thee what he hath.


For thou hast taken away the pledge of thy brethren without cause, and stripped the naked of their clothing.
