And the Lord who is your leader, he himself will be with thee: he will not leave thee, nor forsake thee. Fear not, neither be dismayed.


For thou shalt give him to be a blessing for ever and ever: thou shalt make him joyful in gladness with thy countenance.


Do manfully and be of good heart: fear not, nor be ye dismayed at their sight. For the Lord thy God he himself is thy leader, and will not leave thee nor forsake thee.


What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who is against us?


When thou shalt pass through the waters, I will be with thee: and the rivers shall not cover thee. When thou shalt walk in the fire, thou shalt not be burnt: and the flames shall not burn in thee.


WOE to them that go down to Egypt for help, trusting in horses, and putting their confidence in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong: and have not trusted in the Holy One of Israel, and have not sought after the Lord.


No man shall be able to resist you all the days of thy life. As I have been with Moses, so will I be with thee: I will not leave thee, nor forsake thee.


Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign. Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel.


Then shall I not be confounded, when I shall look into all thy commandments.


Behold, I command thee, take courage, and be strong. Fear not and be not dismayed: because the Lord thy God is with thee in all things whatsoever thou shalt go to.


Sing praises to our God, sing ye: sing praises to our king, sing ye.


And he called upon the Lord God, and said: Lord, there is no difference with thee, whether thou help with few, or with many. Help us, O Lord our God: for with confidence in thee, and in thy name, we are come against this multitude. O Lord thou art our God. Let not man prevail against thee.


The angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said: The Lord is with thee, O most valiant of men.


O our God, wilt thou not then judge them? As for us, we have not strength enough, to be able to resist this multitude, which cometh violently upon us. But as we know not what to do, we can only turn our eyes to thee.


And he did as the Lord had commanded him: he hamstringed their horses and burned their chariots.


When the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land, which thou art going in to possess, and shall have destroyed many nations before thee: the Hethite, and the Gergezite, and the Amorrhite, and the Chanaanite, and the Pherezite, and the Hevite, and the Jebusite: seven nations much more numerous than thou art, and stronger than thou:


The Lord thy God hath blessed thee in every work of thy hands. The Lord thy God dwelling with thee knoweth thy journey: how thou hast passed through this great wilderness, for forty years, and thou hast wanted nothing.


There is no idol in Jacob, neither is there an image-god to be seen in Israel. The Lord his God is with him: and the sound of the victory of the king in him.


And sojourn in it, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee: for to thee and to thy seed I will give all these countries, to fulfill the oath which I swore to Abraham thy father.


Fear not: but remember what the Lord thy God did to Pharao and to all the Egyptians,


And when the battle is now at hand, the priest shall stand before the army, and shall speak to the people in this manner:


Hear, O Israel. You join battle this day against your enemies: let not your heart be dismayed, be not afraid, do not give back, fear ye them not:


And when he was brought to him, he said to him: Let not any man's heart be dismayed in him. I thy servant will go, and will fight against the Philistine.


And he said: Attend ye, all Juda, and you that dwell in Jerusalem, and thou king Josaphat: Thus saith the Lord to you: Fear ye not, and be not dismayed at this multitude. For the battle is not yours, but God's.


The innocent in hands, and clean of heart, who hath not taken his soul in vain, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbour.


Fear not, for I am with thee: turn not aside, for I am thy God. I have strengthened thee and have helped thee: and the right hand of my just one hath upheld thee.


I am the Lord thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.


If you go forth to war out of your land against the enemies that fight against you, you shall sound aloud with the trumpets: and there shall be a remembrance of you before the Lord your God, that you may be delivered out of the hands of your enemies.


And I said to you: Fear not, neither be ye afraid of them.


Thou shalt not fear them, because the Lord thy God is in the midst of thee, a God mighty and terrible.


Thou shalt know therefore this day that the Lord thy God himself will pass over before thee, a devouring and consuming fire, to destroy and extirpate and bring them to nothing before thy face quickly, as he hath spoken to thee.


And the Lord said to him: I will be with thee: and thou shalt cut off Madian as one man.


And Asa went out to meet him, and set his army in array for battle in the vale of Sephata, which is near Maresa.


For God is the king of all the earth: sing ye wisely.


Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when it shall be said no more: The Lord liveth, that brought for the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt:


And they shall be as mighty men, treading under foot the mire of the ways in battle: and they shall fight, because the Lord is with them, and the riders of horses shall be confounded.
