Deuteronomy 14:8
10 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

For, that of the true proverb has happened to them: The dog is returned to his vomit: and, The sow that was washed, to her wallowing in the mire.

They that were sanctified and thought themselves clean in the gardens behind the gate within, they that did eat swine's flesh and the abomination and the mouse: they shall be consumed together, saith the Lord.

He that sacrificeth an ox is as if he slew a man: he that killeth a sheep in sacrifice, as if he should brain a dog: he that offereth an oblation, as if he should offer swine's blood; he that remembereth incense, as if he should bless an idol. All these things have they chosen in their ways: and their soul is delighted in their abominations.

That dwell in sepulchres and sleep in the temple of idols: that eat swine's flesh, and profane broth is in their vessels:

Whosoever toucheth any unclean thing, either that which hath been killed by a beast, or died of itself, or any other creeping thing: and forgetteth his uncleanness, he is guilty, and hath offended:

Whatsoever hath the hoof divided, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, you shall eat.

But of them that chew the cud, but divide not the hoof, you shall not eat, such as the camel, the hare, and the cherogril. Because they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof, they shall be unclean to you.

These shall you eat of all that abide in the waters: All that have fins and scales you shall eat.
