For we are made partakers of Christ: yet so, if we hold the beginning of his substance firm unto the end.


But Christ as the Son in his own house: which house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and glory of hope unto the end.


But my just man liveth by faith; but if he withdraw himself, he shall not please my soul.


And in doing good, let us not fail. For in due time we shall reap, not failing.


And when they had ordained to them priests in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, in whom they believed.


That Christ may dwell by faith in your hearts; that being rooted and founded in charity,


But I say: Have they not heard? Yes, verily, their sound hath gone forth into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the whole world.


Which we have as an anchor of the soul, sure and firm, and which entereth in even within the veil;


For this cause also, I, forbearing no longer, sent to know your faith: lest perhaps he that tempteth should have tempted you, and our labour should be made vain.


The eyes of your heart enlightened, that you may know what the hope is of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.


Who also hath made us fit ministers of the new testament, not in the letter, but in the spirit. For the letter killeth, but the spirit quickeneth.


Now there were dwelling at Jerusalem, Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.


Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer. Behold, the devil will cast some of you into prison that you may be tried: and you shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful until death: and I will give thee the crown of life.


Whereof I am made a minister according to the dispensation of God, which is given me towards you, that I may fulfil the word of God:


If any one abide not in me, he shall be cast forth as a branch, and shall wither, and they shall gather him up, and cast him into the fire, and he burneth.


But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and thou, being once converted, confirm thy brethren.


Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy hath regenerated us unto a lively hope, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,


Having therefore a great high priest that hath passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God: let us hold fast our confession.


Rooted and built up in him, and confirmed in the faith, as also you have learned, abounding in him in thanksgiving.


You did run well, who hath hindered you, that you should not obey the truth?


And we helping do exhort you, that you receive not the grace of God in vain.


And he said to them: Go ye into the whole world, and preach the gospel to every creature.


And them that turn away from following after the Lord, and that have not sought the Lord, nor searched after him.


Lest perhaps lifting up thy eyes to heaven thou see the sun and the moon, and all the stars of heaven, and being deceived by error thou adore and serve them, which the Lord thy God created for the service of all the nations, that are under heaven.


This day will I begin to send the dread and fear of thee upon the nations that dwell under the whole heaven: that when they hear thy name they may fear and tremble, and be in pain like women in travail.


And as for you, let the unction, which you have received from him, abide in you. And you have no need that any man teach you; but as his unction teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie. And as it hath taught you, abide in him.


Who, by the power of God, are kept by faith unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time.


That, being justified by his grace, we may be heirs, according to hope of life everlasting.


Whereunto I am appointed a preacher and an apostle, (I say the truth, I lie not,) a doctor of the Gentiles in faith and truth.


I give thanks who hath strengthened me, even to Christ Jesus our Lord, for that he hath counted me faithful, putting me in the ministry;


Exhort your hearts, and confirm you in every good work and word.


But let us, who are of the day, be sober, having on the breastplate of faith and charity, and for a helmet the hope of salvation.


That no man should be moved in these tribulations: for yourselves know, that we are appointed thereunto.


From whom the whole body, being compacted and fitly joined together, by what every joint supplieth, according to the operation in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body, unto the edifying of itself in charity.


In whom all the building, being framed together, groweth up into an holy temple in the Lord.


For we in spirit, by faith, wait for the hope of justice.


I am afraid of you, lest perhaps I have laboured in vain among you.


They are the ministers of Christ (I speak as one less wise): I am more; in many more labours, in prisons more frequently, in stripes above measure, in deaths often.


Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast and unmoveable; always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.


The ministers of him whom you have believed; and to every one as the Lord hath given.


That I should be the minister of Christ Jesus among the Gentiles; sanctifying the gospel of God, that the oblation of the Gentiles may be made acceptable and sanctified in the Holy Ghost.


And hope confoundeth not: because the charity of God is poured forth in our hearts, by the Holy Ghost, who is given to us.


To them indeed, who according to patience in good work, seek glory and honour and incorruption, eternal life:


But rise up, and stand upon thy feet: for to this end have I appeared to thee, that I may make thee a minister, and a witness of those things which thou hast seen, and of those things wherein I will appear to thee,


But I fear none of these things, neither do I count my life more precious than myself, so that I may consummate my course and the ministry of the word which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.


Who, when he was come, and had seen the grace of God, rejoiced: and he exhorted them all with purpose of heart to continue in the Lord.


Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven given to men, whereby we must be saved.


To take the place of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas hath by transgression fallen, that he might go to his own place.


Who was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.


He is like to a man building a house, who digged deep, and laid the foundation upon a rock. And when a flood came, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and it could not shake it; for it was founded on a rock.


For, when the just turneth himself away from his justice and committeth iniquity, he shall die therein: in the injustice that he hath wrought he shall die.


Thau. Thou shalt persecute them in anger, and shalt destroy them from under the heavens, O Lord.


Therefore, seeing we have this ministration, according as we have obtained mercy, we faint not;


But you shall receive the power of the Holy Ghost coming upon you, and you shall be witnesses unto me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the uttermost part of the earth.


Now I Paul myself beseech you, by the mildness and modesty of Christ, who in presence indeed am lowly among you, but being absent, am bold toward you.


And evidently great is the mystery of godliness, which was manifested in the flesh, was justified in the spirit, appeared unto angels, hath been preached unto the Gentiles, is believed in the world, is taken up in glory.
