11 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

Then Jerobaal, who is the same as Gedeon, rising up early and all the people with him, came to the fountain that is called Harad. Now the camp of Madian was in the valley on the north side of the high hill.

Thy hands were not bound, nor thy feet laden with fetters: but as men fall before the children of iniquity, so didst thou fall. And all the people repeating it wept over him.

And when Abner was returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside to the middle of the gate, to speak to him treacherously. And he stabbed him there in the groin: and he died, in revenge of the blood of Asael his brother.

From that day Gedeon was called Jerobaal, because Joas had said: Let Baal revenge himself on him that hath cast down his altar.

All shall answer, and say to thee: Thou also art wounded as well as we. Thou art become like unto us.

then said I, Behold I come. In the head of the book it is written of me

And the men coming out of the city fought against Joab and there fell some of the people of the servants of David. And Urias the Hethite was killed also.

If thou see him to be angry, and he shall say: Why did you approach so near to the wall to fight? Knew you not that many darts are thrown from above off the wall?

So the messenger departed; and came and told David all that Joab had commanded him.
