Thus saith the Lord: Cursed be the man that trusteth in man and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord!


Who healeth the broken of heart, and bindeth up their bruises.

because thou hast been my helper. And I will rejoice under the covert of thy wings:


And in the last days the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be prepared on the top of mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills: and all nations shall flow unto it.


And they came to the threshing-floor of Atad, which is situated beyond the Jordan: where celebrating the exequies with a great and vehement lamentation, they spent full seven days.


And as the king of Israel was passing by the wall, a certain woman cried out to him, saying: Save me, my lord O king.


This woman said to me: Give thy son, that we may eat him to-day, and we will eat my son to-morrow.
